Ballet 1

Students may be admitted to the Ballet 1 as young as 7 years old, however, students will be placed in this class based on technical skill level. In this level, your students will expand on their foundational technique learned during Pre-Ballet.
Ballet 2
*Pointe 1
Students will be placed in Ballet 2 when the teacher(s) deem the student ready. This class is a vital stage in the education process as your student(s) will start learning more difficult skills, rather than foundational technique.
*Students will be given pointe shoes during the second semester of their final year in this class. Mrs. Beth must approve this advancement.
There are 2 optional classes for Ballet 2 students, Stretch and Strength, and Jazz. Although optional, we highly recommend your student takes these classes.
Ballet 3
Pointe 1

Ballet 3, the pointe shoe level! Your student(s) will begin their training in pointe shoes, however, pointe shoes on feet that aren't ready yet can be detrimental. At MBA, we look out for the well-being of your student, and want to avoid unnecessary strain or even possible injury of the ankle. Because of this, students must meet a specific set of criteria before they are moved into this level.
There are 3 optional classes for this level, Stretch and Strength, Jazz, and Modern/Contemporary. Students are encouraged to take these classes, especially if they hope to pursue a career in dance.
Ballet 4
Pointe 2
Students will be placed in this level based on technical skill. At this level your student(s) will have a solid technique, and will now focus on their artistry. At MBA, we believe every student is their own artist - no two students alike.
Pointe 2 will occur once per week after ballet class, pointe will be integrated into the ballet classes on other nights. There are 3 optional classes for this level, Stretch and Strength, Jazz, and Modern/Contemporary. We encourage all students to take the additional classes, especially students wanting a career in dance.
